[edit]

Here some details:

1. Ayatollah seyed Abolghassem Mostafavi Kashani was never foreign minister in Iran. 2. There is no link between this Ayatollah "Mostafavi Kashani" and the (current) Ayatollah "Emami Kashani". Even if they have the same part in their Family name. Important is the first part of the family name. 3. Ayatollah Mostafavi Kashani was parliament president in iran. (K.Andalib)

clerical title is missing, see Thomas Cardinal Wolsey Gryffindor 15:02, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article was obviously written by a rather reverent supporter of the Ayatollah. I am no expert on him, but I took a first stab at removing some of the more obvious POV. - stancollins

It hasn't really improved. In addition to not being propoerly formatted, not linked, etc., it's still quite hagiographical. Stancollins 19:40, 23 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hearing no objections, (it's been here a while from my original observation), I inserted the alternative text into the main page and added some links. I will leave the POV check in case anyone wants to clean it up further, as I think there's still some work to do. Stancollins 15:00, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Another factual matter to explore would be if there's any relation between this Kashani and the current Ayatollah Emami Kashani. http://www.arabicnews.com/ansub/Daily/Day/050709/2005070934.html Stancollins 15:03, 25 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The article appears at the moment to be "just the facts, ma'am". In fact, its pretty dry reading at the moment. I can see no bias issues here. I'm removing the tag. -- ShinmaWa(talk) 18:12, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move request

[edit]

I object. I don't think moving it to a page that includes Ayatollah is a good idea. Some people recognize him as an ayatollah, while some don't. Furthmore, Muhammad is not at Prophet Muhammad, Bill Clinton is not at President Bill Clinton and neither is George W. Bush. Pepsidrinka 22:10, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We are talking a cleric here who is recognised as an ayatollah. Where does it say he was not recognised as such? Clerical titles are included, see Thomas Cardinal Wolsey. Gryffindor 01:04, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

on the assassination of Ali Razmara

[edit]

In the Haj Ali Razmara page: "He (Ali Razmara) was assassinated by Kahlil Tahmassebi of the Fadayan-e Islam organization"
and
"Kashani, along with other National Frontists, defended the act as justified"
and
"Although it was well known that Ayatollah Kashani controlled the Fedayan, there is no evidence that he or any other National Front member, was ever officially implicated in the assassination of Prime Minister Ali Razmara"
...but nothing here...
