Inaccurate history

[edit]

Erez Eisen was born in September 8, 1980 and has early musical training: he learned to play the organ at age 4 and started studying piano in the Haifa Conservatory at the age of 8. At age 11 he started toying with computerized music, first using Impulse Tracker, later moving to more advanced musical composition software.

This isn't right somehow... If he was born in 1980, then he would have been 11 in 1991, predating Impulse Tracker by several years. Maybe he started off with some other tracker prog (say, Scream Tracker 2? that one was created in '90) and worked his way up to IT? --68.117.193.138 03:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The reference says "Impulse Tracker", but it doesn't say anything about age 11, just that he made his first album with it. Either the "age 11" part is wrong, or he used something else previously. You're correct either way, that is a factual error. Dementia13 (talk) 22:52, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just submitted an edit to remove that particular inaccuracy about age 11. I don't like including "later" twice in the same sentence, but I couldn't think of better wording without knowing more about the musicians' lives or changing a lot of the article.
