  • Following a motion, the Arbitration Committee adopted a new enforcement restriction on January 4, 2024, wherein the Committee may apply the 'Reliable source consensus-required restriction' to specified topic areas.
  • Community feedback is requested for a draft to replace the "Information for administrators processing requests" section at WP:AE.

Nomination of Military designation of days and hours for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Military designation of days and hours is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

While I'll be the first to admit that the stub I threw together needs amplification, it cannot be rejected as a "neologism". It's an obscure term used in spectroscopy for decades. Besides Mitchell and Salvaggio 2003, a quick Google Books search yields instances dating back to the mid-twentieth century. I first ran across the term during a search of the Canadian National Defence catalog of publications.
Maybe it would work better as a small section in the Kirchhoff's law of thermal radiation article ? Urhixidur (talk) 01:51, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
