What's the relation between the Brazilian Space Agency and INPE (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais)? In some sources they appear to be the same but they've different histories (see here). 193.171.121.30 13:47, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)

INPE, as it name says (National Institute of Space Research) handles researches of aerospace technology; they have built most of the meteorological sattelites used by Brazil nowadays. INPE also deals with sattelite data, such as weather forecasting. The AEB deals with space monitoring and the launches of brazilian space missions.

NASA - BSA

[edit]

During our recent visit to the NBL in Houston NASA, we were asked to guess what flag was missing. Then the guide told us that Brazil used to partner with NASA, and that stopped after the VLS-1 explosion. Fact is, there are old pics of the NBL flag wall including Brazil's, but that flag is gone in later ones. Anyone has some data, what, wherefore?

The way the flags are lined up now really seems to have one space "missing". YamaPlos talk 21:21, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
