Coffee Crisp

[edit]

Sounds like we in Southern California are missing out on quite a treat! Never heard of that bar before now. I started to tag the article as a speedy delete, but then I thought Googling the name might be better. Bingo...lots of hits, including fansites! It's now a fairly serviceable stub. - Lucky 6.9 04:24, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

  • Looking good. That's becoming a rather interesting article! With so many similar products coming from this side of the border, it's interesting to see something like that which happens to be purely Canadian. With all the Canadian snowbirds that come here during the winter months, Nestlé ought to market that bar in Palm Springs. Have a great weekend! - Lucky 6.9 01:08, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Augh

[edit]

Gabriel, i really do feel sorry for you that you have nothing better to do with you spare time then edit candy articles (although i admit that you are doing this encyclopedia a great service) and make a calendar on wikipedia when people can just go to google to see what crazy holiday it is today. Maybe do something productive, like writing mere worthless, yet hilarious articles for the uncyclopedia.

hey man, word perfect may do that for you but: a) i'm not using word perfect and b) word does too because it's better, ha ha

This place has me thinking in lists...what I really meant to type there was History of calendar systems, not list of calendars ( i was aware of that one ). It would be a neat article...--Alterego June 28, 2005 04:10 (UTC)

Image replaced and up for deletion

[edit]

Hi, I've replaced the image Image:Capital C.jpg, uploaded by you, with Image:Capital C.svg because SVG is a more suitable format for images with no photographic content. The original image has been listed for deletion—hope this is OK. –Mysid 07:16, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, yet another comment about the project above. To ensure that it is not eligible for deletion, it needs to have at least one listed member. Right now, it has none. Please create a members section and add your name to it. Thank you. Badbilltucker 19:44, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Monthly Mammoth

[edit]

Is there an actual monthly mammoth publication? I found the WordPerfect shot amusing and whimsical. Oh, and I don't keep kosher either. Shellfish and pork just beg to be eaten. - MSTCrow 00:06, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is to inform you that the above project is being considered for deletion in accord with wikipedia policy. Please feel free to take part in the discussion at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Calendars. Thank you. John Carter 18:25, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Template:Calendar download

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Calendar download requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:08, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Calendars of 2008

[edit]

I notice your major involvement in the calendars so thought I would mention this.

The 2007 one has - preceded by 2006, then 2007, then followed by 2008.

That's I gather as it is meant to be.

But the 2008 one has - preceded by 2007, then 2007, then followed by 2009.

I might be able to fix this, or I might screw it up royally, so I'll just mention this.

Valour Road

[edit]

Hi Munchkinguy:

This is about your offer to take a photo of the memorial at Valour Road. I think it is a good idea.

I was in Winnipeg in May and went tp Valour Road to take pictures. Unfortunately I was only in Winnipeg a short time.

I took some photos of the memorial at Sargent Ave. It is so big and the "background" so cluttered that I could not get a good photo. Maybe you will do better. If there are lights on it in the evening, that might be a good time. I was there in the morning.

I found there is an older memorial plaque on a lamppost just steps from Portage. I did not do much better getting a photo of it. Again, it was morning and the bright sun was behind it. I think it might work better to take a picture in early afternoon when the sun is angling across the face of the plaque.

I would like to know how this goes. Thanks.

Best wishes, Wanderer57

Non-free rationale for File:Cookies & Clods.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Cookies & Clods.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 04:03, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
