Doobie Brothers

Is this the town the Doobie Brothers sung about? I thought it had much more of an Asian population.

The song, while great and one of the Doob's best, is kinda strange in it's meaning. It's about the town featured in this article, which is full of Chinese people ("though it's a part of the Lone Star state, people don't seem to care, they just keep on looking to the East") and where the Sheriff wears a Samurai Sword (Japanese not Chinese). It has nothing to do with the actual China Grove apart from the name Irisismykid (talk) 23:57, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
