Who damn put that "Japones tem 4 filhos" version of our beloved anthem???

This is an absurd!!!

I am about to correct the absurd information stating that this hymn was Brazil´s first national anthemn and was replaced upon the proclamation of the republc. That is utterly wrong. The Independence Anthemn was never the national anthemn, but an official patriotic song. And it thus remained after the proclamation of the republic and until our times.

In the english translation resides a shorter version of Hymn, with some paragraphs cut out. The shorter version exists, but with another paragraphs. Also, the complete version(in portuguese) is confusing, with little separation between paragraphs and repeating the chorus all the time.

Use as national anthem

I couldn't find any source stating that this anthem was used as Brazil's national anthem from 1822 to 1831, although this is populary believed in Brazil. - Alumnum (talk) 15:44, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
