• A really close call. The page is excessively detailed and quite wrong on at least one point (Chickamauga is not in Alabama; it's in Georgia (i.e. "nowhere" to some folks); more likely he got mortally wounded there and then died later, in Alabama). What is the medal pictured for? I suppose it's not wrong to have too much information, but the information is much greater than the significance. One paragraph is all second place governor racers would get, and that's his contribution to the world. His family and their doings aren't. A savage trimming would make it a keep. • I think a clear keep, what with his being a big GAR (an important organization at its time) leader, an important judge in an important jurisdiction (chicago, u.s.a.), and enough of a politician to at least be nominated for governer.
