Structure

[edit]

There should be an individual entry for each stadium, arena or other facility where sport (either at a professional or collegiate level) takes place.

At a minimum, an entry for a facility should include the following:

  • A completed {{Infobox venue}}
  • A paragraph stating what the facility is, where it is and what kinds of events it hosts (if it is an arena, include concerts where applicable). This paragraph should include the relevant transportation modes to the facility, such as mass transit and roadways.
  • Information about the organizations and events that use the facility.
  • A history of the facility, including:
    • The planning and construction
    • Name changes (including new or changing sponsors)
    • Famous moments (including any championship events)
    • Closure and demolition of the facility
  • Any external links to official web sites of the facility
  • Succession boxes for:
    • Present tenants
    • Present event hosting
    • Past tenants
    • Past event hosting
