Misguided

[edit]

I think this page is misguided.

  • temporary high traffic situations are seldom coped with by the addition of circuits
  • if you do add circuits sufficient for the offered load then erlang will start working

what is incorrectly calculated is the number of dropped calls, but that probably doesn't matter as long as the network continues to handle it's nominal maximum load or more. More important is correct overload handling. Mozzerati 20:08, 2005 Apr 11 (UTC)

Article should be merged with Grade of Service

[edit]

I don't think this article makes sence without first reading the Grade of Service article. I thought it was talking about network or vehicular traffic. I think this should be merged with Grade of Service. That would also solve the wikification issues.
