I see that some of the congresses are named with the actual numerals, while others use the written-out form of the numbers. I assume new articles should use the written-out form, simply because such existing articles outnumber the alternate. Any comments?

Looks like aside from 53rd United States Congress all those below the 100th are written out. I imagine someone decided that One Hundred-first United States Congress was too awkward. --Laura Scudder | Talk 28 June 2005 20:35 (UTC)
I don't see on this page (congresses by session) the logic of listing the 1st through 19th congresses under ZERO, and (presumably) all congresses above the 99th under "1." My opinion is that this page should be listed in groups of 10 and arranged by ordinal numbers (numerals, not spelled out): 1st through 10th, 11th through 20th, etc. Easier to search the list, easier to read, even if we retain the spelled-out name on the page for the individual congress. I'm currently adding dates of sessions to the individual congress pages. When I finish that, I propose to come back here and edit this list, though that probably won't happen before September. Any comments? OtherDave 13:01, August 22, 2005 (UTC)
Well, phooey -- I guess this page is organized automatically by software that doesn't care how people look things up. OtherDave 16:00, August 23, 2005 (UTC)
