It's a fairly mild case of pov, but it needs some sort of change to make it more encyclopaedic.

WTF?

[edit]

I have reinstated the POV as the original changes were made to remove inappropriate biographical references to the Coreas (as they have their own entry). This article has strayed back towards POV territory and is in danger of soapboxing! Ed 08/09/05

Is it satisfactory now? Computerjoe's talk 16:23, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Looks better to me - I've given it a copyedit as well. Thanks! Just another star in the night T | @ | C 16:59, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The song Open Every Door was co-written in July 2007 with Autistic artist and composer Rozagy, who wrote and produced the music to the existing lyrics by Nimal Mendis. That version co-written by Rozagy that was called 'beautiful and moving' by professor Simon Baron-Cohen was presented to Gordon Brown and many MPs and influential people and was available for download on Nimal Mendis website and became very popular with people from all over the world. Rozagy declared that she wanted to give her half of the song's proceeds to Autism research charity in Cambridge.

The moving melody touched many people and even Ivan Corea said that hearing this version of the song 'made him cry'. The Rozagy/Mendis song was played at the House of Commons during the EDM on the 21st of Febuary however it was only mentioned that Rozagy 'sang' it, not co-written and produced it. When Rozagy requested that her contribution to the song was publically acknowledged, she was stonewalled by Autism awareness campaign, her song deleted from download page and all communication severed. The research autism charity in Cambridge did not receive a penny.

The singer from Sri Lanca, a friend of both Ivan Corea and Nimal Mendis, Gresha Schuilling was asked to record the old version of Open Every Door which is what was released on World Autism Awareness Day. She does not have Autism.
