Talk About The U.S and Worldwide Sales as of 2009

[edit]

"Greatest Hits: My Prerogative" did sold above average despite the fact Britney only release a cover version as her single "My Prerogative" which did not crack the Billboard 100 and "Do Somethin' which lands at no.100 on the chart. However, as of July 2009, the figures given by the Nielsen SoundScan click here stands only 1,347,000 copies, and been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Worldwide Sales??? Why do people keep changing or editing this article on the worldwide sales figures with no reliable sources which they edit it to 8 to 10 million mark regarding on its worldwide sales...There is no precise and accurate source on this...But in her website www.britney.com on her career highlights, it still stated that "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative" sold only 5 million copies...but the certifications there are false like Mexicos' AMPROFON certification and the Brazilian's ADBP are did not match on its websites..I do not trust this site...please site an reliable source on changing the worldwide sales figure. I hope this helps! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adelbutt123 (talkcontribs) 09:11, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Cox Megamix

[edit]

I believe that since the Chris Cox Megamix is a very small article, it should be added to the singles section of this article. Xwomanizerx (talk) 22:33, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the article used to be a little longer, but it seems that you remove some things and now it looks shorter than it was... I do not understand why did you remove that information... The older version was long enough to be a stand alone article, but I wish I could know your reasons to remove the info, and maybe I could understand why you want them to be merged. I need reasons or I'll revert it. Fortunato luigi (talk) 07:03, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The old article contained unreferenced information about the countries it was released, a version and edits section that should not belong in wikipedia and a completely unreferenced music video section without any reliable sources other than fansites. If no one else opposes in the article I will merge the articles. Xwomanizerx (talk) 18:35, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My Prerogative WW sales...

[edit]

I don't know if this helps...but the Booklet of The Singles Collection says that Greatest Hits: My Prerogative has sold nearly 6 million copies, not 5, like this page says... But this booklet has a lot of mistakes (as it says that Toxic was #1 in the US, and that Baby one more time sold 22 million copies, and it sold 25 million copies according to a britneyspears.com article from this year...so sales could be of more than 6 million copies). I hope this information helps! --GenieOFbritney (talk) 23:38, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

The result of this discussion was no consensus. Xwomanizerx (talk) 19:56, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since the deletion nomination reached no consensus, I propose that "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)" is merged into Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. In fact, most of the information on "I've Just Begun" is already on the Background section of this page. Xwomanizerx (talk) 23:19, 21 November 2010 (UTC) <discussion>[reply]

How? The background section is ALREADY on this article. The composition won't be added and the critical reception can't be merged. Nothing would change. Xwomanizerx (talk) 22:03, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Greatest Hits: My Prerogative

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Greatest Hits: My Prerogative's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:39, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Worldwide Sales

[edit]

This compilation album I believe it has sold by now 6 - 7 million copies worldwide. It's stated that by the end of 2004 and the beggining of 2005 this album already surpassed +5 million copies WW.

This album was released in the 9th of November in 2004 and RIAA latest update certification was exactly one month after the release date when this album was already Platinum in USA. The latest updates certification we have of Greatest Hits My Prerogative are: AUSTRALIA: x7 Platinum in 2018 DENMARK: x3 Platinum in 2020 UK: x3 Platinum in 2013 GERMANY: x1 Gold in 2013 RUSSIA: x2 Platinum in 2011 JAPAN: x3 Platinum in 2005 FRANCE: x2 Gold in 2005

All the music markets left only have updates from 2004. 88.7.36.115 (talk) 12:34, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
