Recency

Much of the data used here is outdated, particularly in the section about grizzly bears.Wildernest42 (talk) 22:23, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Restructuring

[edit]

I think Longleaf pine ecosystem serves as a good model for how this article should be structured. This seems to be almost entirely about conservation and very little about what the ecosystem is actually like now. I will try to write a "Animal and plant diversity" section, an ecology section (which is sorely missing) and then change the "management by species" section into a decline/conservation/management/concerns today section. Look forward to your work on the Management by species section. I think the History and Protected areas are in pretty good shape. Cheers, Adflatusstalk 19:27, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, agree on History and Protected areas.
I noticed you've done a lot for this page, so I would appreciate if you can help keep me balanced (not do too much etc.)
I started the animal and plant diversity section, meanwhile did large mammals, let me know what you think of it... FergusArgyll (talk) 22:22, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok Adflatusstalk 22:27, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I guess as I'm writing this I'm trying to figure out; how different is this / should it be from the article on the natl. park?
any clearly delineated lines you can think of? FergusArgyll (talk) 22:45, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
