Original text

[edit]

The original text must have been through a really bad translating program, because some sentences were just plain nonsense. Indeed - where. Also, I couldn't help adding a wink here and there...Srd2005 20:42, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)

This isn't a "Joy of Pogo" pamphlet...

[edit]

Hey, this isn't a propoganda pamphlet on the Joys of Pogo >:( I agree pogo is fun - but this is a Wiki article. Get some reliable sources, and get rid of the pro-pogo slant please. Just a suggestion, but this article would benefit from being seperated into sections. How about: Characteristics, History, ,Criticism of Pogo'ing and Support of Pogo (all with reliable sources of course).

Other pogo references

[edit]

English punk band the Vibrators have a song "Pogo Dancing", which touches on the topic of pogo dancing.

Briefly, I'm sure. -Yours M. Mysterious

strict dancing

[edit]

Thanks a lot for the scheme ! It's such a melancholy remembering all those punks executing all those steps in a perfect harmony, what a beautiful choreography it was, lovely. I must admit I was only doing the steps 2 and 4 in a random order, dancing pogo is so hard you know. -a pogo dancer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.199.172.35 (talk) 14:43, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sid

[edit]

Sid Vicious's article says nothing about him actually playing the saxophone. This quote may be fictional, or may have been a joke on Viv's part. If the former, it should be deleted; if the latter, it should be indicated. PurpleChez (talk) 21:14, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gogo

[edit]

Was the term "pogo" coined with "go-go" in mind, "of, or relating to the style of music played at discotheques", as in They got their surfboards and they're going to the discotheque A-Go-Go (Sheena Is a Punk Rocker)? --89.12.65.211 (talk) 15:51, 23 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
