@Kablammo: Thanks for starting this workshop page above. I see that there are some sources that could be added to the article, and a concern about the politics information perhaps not reflecting sources who state that JMS's politics were more moderate. Do you think this causes the article to not fulfil the FA criteria, due to not being comprehensive? Z1720 (talk) 14:57, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Z1720: I cannot say if the article is comprehensive. I am not well-read in the subject, and my understanding does not extend much beyond the material on this page. Almost half of the content of the page, and most of the early content, was contributed by three editors who are no longer active.
I think an effort to bring it to current FA standards is warranted, if more editors with an appreciation for, and knowledge of, the subject get involved. And perhaps the workshop which is now in my user space should be moved here.done. Kablammo (talk) 16:29, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
To note, this is a relatively untouched 2004 nom by Filiocht, whom I regard as one of the best editors the project has been blessed with. A lot of references and sources have been added since 2004, maybe not enough, but I reject Z1720'S usual claim that the newer refs are the best refs and/or we should include fringe views (I do respect you Z, but we have different approaches). That said, happy to research this and avoid a formal FAR. Ceoil (talk) 22:47, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I would be happy to assist with reviewing, copy editing, sourcing and such. From a glance, the current referencing seems solid, perhaps the newer sources would work better as additions rather than swaps. Aza24 (talk)23:31, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Aza24. Currently reviewing whats available on JSTOR, which is particularly useful on the period. I'm a slow worker so please bear with me. Ceoil (talk) 23:37, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
