Category

Just to advise this project, after finding five articles about comic book series that had been filed only in the overly general Category:Comics and/or Category:Series without any obvious evidence of a more specific subcategory that they could be moved to, I created Category:Comic book series to get them subcategorized more specifically. There was already a narrower category for Category:Comic book limited series, but the articles I saw didn't necessarily feature obvious indications that they were "limited" — but I've also filed that as a subcategory of the general "series" one. And Category:Comics publications also didn't seem sufficient in and of itself, as it appears to feature a mixture of series, anthologies and standalone titles, as well as occasional articles about characters in comic book series, rather than being specifically for comic book series per se.

If there is already another appropriate category somewhere that I missed, or if people with more expertise than I've got can confirm that the titles I saw are limited, then feel free to redirect it there — but I just wanted to let you guys know that it exists, so you can either more fully populate it or do with it as you wish if it's actually not needed. Proper source for a ghost

Well, actually for a ghost horse in a comic book. The 1880s harness racing mare Maud S. appeared in a Ghostbusters comic book (See [here]) but the info was, justifiable, removed for non-RS. What would be a good RS for such a thing? A picture of a page from the comic? Or would it need to be a review that mentioned the character appearance? redlink Reborn (comics)

I noticed a redlink in Nettlebed, and looked into it to see if there was an obvious fix. It turns out there are 28 links (will be 29 now) to the redlink in the title, with no obvious sign that the referenced page ever existed. That seems like a good target for some cleanup, one way or another: the links appear to have been added in early contributions from 77.92.145.214 (talk). Hv (talk) 12:11, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
