Rue du Soleil been friends for a few years, DJ & music producers as well, from the underground scene in Switzerland (Zurich). Our love to Ibiza has been there from the start in the 80s. We digging & produced House Music, Trip-Hop, Experimental and a lot of different genres.
The beginning of our chill out experience:
In 1999, a girlfriend of one member from are group, travelled to Australia for one year, wherefore he was lovesick. To express his feelings he started producing sentimental music . That was the beginning of our chillout journey. He started playing our tracks in DJ sets by sunsets and as warm up`s. Those caught our DJ friends' attention and asked for copies. One of them was DJ Joy, that stood in every Sunday for DJ Bruno Lepêtre (Bruno from Ibiza) resident of the legendary Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza, that Bar are founder and creator of Chill out music in the early `80. One Sunday, Joy played our track 'Dreaming of..' and Bruno immediately wanted to know who's track it was. And that's how Cafe del Mar became aware of Rue du Soleil... and the rest is history.
Rue du Soleil are is the group that has the most songs in the Cafe del Mar compilations.
The band was formed by:

Dragan Jakovljevic aka (Drax)
Yavuz Uslu aka (Guz)
Claudio Montuori aka (George Lamell)
Vocal by: Andia Bischof-Foehr & Matilde Turpin (La Francaise)
The experiencee started in the year 1999 based in Zürich/ Switzerland.
The musical interest of each one of the members lead them to make their own recording studio. Their working lives has never stopped them to meet every day in the studio to work in new compositions and develop new sounds and musical tendencies.
Their creative ability and his Music is so spectacular that the legendary "Cafe del Mar" in Ibiza, proposed a record deal for them started in 2002. In that year Cafe del Mar broke the distribution after a bad experience with a Major label and got some interest in new independent artists.
All the Music of Rue du Soleil was released and recorded in Rue du Soleil studios in Zürich/Switzerland.
