Mark Twain's publisher was also called American Publishing Company

[edit]

American Publishing Company redirects here, which is problematic. Mark Twain's 19th-century publisher had the exact same name and was based in Hartford, Connecticut. This article is about the company est. in 1986, no apparent connection. Someone should check out the dates of the old publisher and add them to the hatnote - and definitely, don't remove it. I guess the old company will eventually receive its own Wiki page, too. Arminden (talk) 16:55, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
