Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Dbc100, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Oral Sex

[edit]

Please stop adding commercial links to Wikipedia, as you did in Oral Sex. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. Mike Christie 12:42, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to use Wikipedia for advertising, as you did in Blog, you will be blocked from editing. Gwernol 13:29, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Oral sex. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links as long as the content abides by our policies and guidelines. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Rsm99833 23:13, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 23:38, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
