Disambiguation

There are clearly lots of places in the world named Beacon Hill! Most, if not all, deserve a short article, at the least, in my opinion.

There is also the concept of a Beacon Hill, which is to say, a hill formerly used as the location for a beacon.

It seems to me that we should change this page to briefly discuss the notion of a beacon hill, and the shared heritage of most beacon hills in the world, and also to serve as a disambiguation page with links to the various beacon hills in different parts of the world.

I'll make a shot at the overall text.

If this page is split into a lot of beacon hills, where should the edit history go? I say leave it with the disambiguation page...

I don't know of a town or village called Beacon Hill in Buckinghamshire - could you mean Beaconsfield? (pronounced "Beckons-field")
