"Con carne" is too specific

"Chili con carne" means, as the article notes, "chili with meat." It is overly specific for this level of article, in my opinion. It is one of many types of chili, perhaps the most common, but I am not sure of that. My cupboard is full of canned chili, none of it "con carne". The more fundamental distinction that we (Americans) would make is chili with beans vs chili without beans. 71.65.167.152 (talk) 20:15, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
