I've removed the "#REDIRECTOrgasm", although I do not know exactly what to write instade, I believe a 'proper' entry is due, with cultural refs, biology, Sex Magick, and thus forth...

Do you know what a redirect does? Anyone aiming for this article will end up at orgasm. Can't we cover the things you want to cover in a "proper entry" at that article? Why would this one be separate? Jwrosenzweig 19:52, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Of course I know what a redirect does, else I woudln't have removed it would I? I fail to understand your path of reasoning.

Again, I don't know why your 'revert' to the Orgasm redirect, I consider this redirect is harmful, and find it very narrowing, both as a POV and as an option for expansion into an article. Please write down your reason before redirecting again, thank you.

It does not seem to me that Sexual pleasure and Orgasm are necessarily synonymous. DJ Clayworth 19:54, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)

I would say nevessarily not. And the Orgasm entry does not expand too much, it's pretty technical (do you consider 'sexual pleasure' as such? I certainly do not)

Just for example, I think a Sexual pleasure entry should hardly talk about 'muscle contraction of the anus and lower pelvic' the 'labia minora becoming darker' or mention 'Masters and Johnson', we have the Orgasm and Masters and Jognson pages for that. If you guys insist on redirecting this entry somewhere, suggest a good place for all the other (ie, not necceseraly so physical) aspects of sexual pleasure, anything to do with culture, norms, emotions perhaps? further, why such happy trigger edit reversion here, and three times!

The redirect should go away, sexual pleasure is much more general

I think if you want the redirect to go away and stay away, you're going to have to place some text in this article to serve as an alternative. A blank page is redirect bait. --Gary D 09:53, 25 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Where should it redirect to?

[edit]

Currently it is going to Sexual arousal, but most of the time in the past it has gone to orgasm. Which also to me seems like a more natural location. As such I'll be changing it back to that, if anybody disagrees please use the opportunity here on this page to discuss why. Cheerio. Mathmo Talk 15:14, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
