Viajero: Moving some of the details (and simply excising others) of Rossetto's history with Wired to the Wired page is like moving the bulk of Clinton's bio to the American history page. It does not help the reader, nor does it give an accurate view of the person. Also, links are good; this is the Web, and this is a story about a Web pioneer. Systematically removing links that were painstakingly added does not do the reader a service. The 6 October version was more useful and more accurate.

Wired was greatly admired for its bold design[2] and its coverage of "digital culture".

I'm sure that's true, but it seemed to copy and take the design of Mondo 2000 to another level, so it wasn't exactly a revolution but more of an assimilation. Granted, Mondo 2000 was quite primitive compared to Wired but when you compared the two at the inception of Wired, the influence was obvious. Viriditas (talk) 01:00, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
