B-Class?

[edit]

Hey there. I'm thinking about expanding this article and Section 23 films to get them up to at least a B-Class (or GA if its possible), using the Hanna-Barbera article as a model. The History section obviously needs to be expanded upon as well like how it was doing. We may need to find some books so we can create a bibliography and get some sourced information from there. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 02:27, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, there's certainly a lot of information here, so my initial thought is that it needs shaping and trimming. I'm not familiar with the company, and bringing it up to snuff seems like a more in-depth job than I can really handle right now. But it seems like a highly notable anime / entertainment company, so it surely deserves editors' attention and work. --Tenebrae (talk) 22:26, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Revival of ADV Films

[edit]

Hey guys, there rumors & speculations that the Defunct company, ADV Films, is making a huge comeback in the anime community, and these articles are the ones, stating that as such, so here are the link to the following:

Please check if these links are in fact true or not, if they turnout to be absolutely 100% true, then go fix it & add them to the article, but if they turnout to be not true at all, then don't add them & remove the links, just in that case, & only if it come to that point, that is all, ok good buddy! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 00:07, 18 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ADV Films never really died, they just changed names and the legal status for their several components to avoid bankruptcy and other legal troubles. Neither of your links gives any concrete evidence that ADV is making any sort of "huge comeback" or that the ADV brand is being resurrected.

On the other hand this article on A. D. Vision needs a lot of work, and sounds like it was written in fall 2009 with no updates since. There was a major collapse of the US anime industry in 2008-2009 (or maybe the world anime industry for that matter), but this article isn't very clear on that. Or on that fact that ADV just re-organized, re-named themselves and continued on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.15.139.37 (talk) 23:11, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
