@ Alexeyevitch Nice photo of Laurence St but not ideal. Waltham is another of those suburbs that is not defined and can cover a large area because there is no better suburb to use. Laurence St is part of a well defined area east of Lancaster Park Stadium and south of Ferry Rd that has been desribed as Charleston by locals trying to create a destinct suburb for that area, which includes Charles St, hence the name. There are signs as you enter the area saying 'Welcome to Charleston'.The point is that this area is not at the heart of Waltham and so the photo should not be used. A better area that is certainly in Waltham is along Shakespeare Rd and south towards Waltham Park west of Wilson's Rd. Why not go there and take photos? There is Waltham Park and Waltham Pool, a church on Hastings St, an ice-rink and shops on Shakespeare Rd, plus plenty of other sites for a photo of undisputed Waltham.
