Simplified versatackle

After some fiddling around, I came up with a version of this knot that is simpler and faster to set up, by replacing the two fixed loops with a slip knot in the middle of the rope, and bight passed around the anchor replacing the end loop. (the free end then goes through the slipknot loop to start the winding.

I haven't tested this version yet but I'm interested to hear if anyone else has tried the same or similar modifications?
