museum

[edit]

Do you really need to spend time in the introduction talking about a museum that left town decades ago and closed years ago? Just say it's the hometown of the two celebrities - unless someone invents a time machine the museum is irrelevant.23.242.198.234 (talk) 01:35, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lohan

[edit]

Lindsay Lohan lives or has lived in Apple Valley? Huh?

Unless the user has a source to corroborate this fact, it's gossip. Delete it. 163.150.50.235 (talk) 22:32, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Incorporation

[edit]

When has Apple Valley been incorporated ?

Apple Valley is definitely incorporated (Nov. 28, 1988). In the State of CA, there is no legal or practical difference between a City and a Town. The folks behind the incorporation drive just chose "town" to reflect the rural atmosphere they hoped to retain. I suppose technically you could say we are "The City of 'The Town of Apple Valley'". We are an official, self-governing municipal corporation under State law. From the Town PIO... --AVKMartin 22:24, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to California law, there is no legal distinction between a town and a city. Apple Valley is an incorporated city that the city founders are calling a town. BlankVerse 01:20, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Apple Valley is definitely a city with its own charter, etc. The website merely uses 'town' for the rural connotations such a word brings. We have our own police and government services up here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.166.187.149 (talk) 16:17, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Whats with the Michelle Peralta additions that random IP addresses are adding? I looked it up and it is just a facebook thing. And the Michelle Peralta page was also deleted because it was considered non-notable. Creation7689 (talk) 15:00, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Complaining about random IP Addresses is akin to asking children to stop babbling when they're bored. Just shake your head and revert it. 163.150.50.235 (talk) 22:30, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
