Oysters

[edit]

Yards Love Stout has not been brewed with oysters for months, regardless of what the website and/or bottle says. I have this straight from the brewer when I did a tour. According to him, there were lots of complaints related to having oysters in the stout (I myself avoided it as a vegetarian), and it "wasn't worth the bother." Asked about how it affected the taste, he said that it actually tastes better sans oysters. 149.68.74.165 19:54, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Only Brewery?

[edit]

What about all the microbreweries?--68.32.11.74 21:35, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Most of the text of this page is copied verbatim from the brewer's website. Attempts to edit the entry to a more neutral POV have been reverted by a user whose only contribution to wikipedia is reverting those edits. I suspect a sockpuppet. Spammers

[edit]

To the cranky pants who keep intentionally misrepresenting facts that have nothing to do with a business that produces beer, you are contributing no value to people looking for information regarding Yards. No-cares about mundane trivial BS that happened over a decade ago. Let it go. Contribute something valuable that can provide informative useful knowledge to people as opposed to pointless petty squabbles. Your loyalty is appreciated, but you just make yourselves look petty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.242.19.27 (talk) 16:31, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Student Contributions to Article.

[edit]

Hello! I am currently a History student at West Chester University. As part of our History On the Web course, we were assigned to choose a Philadelphia-based company and improve the associated Wiki article. This has been a tremendous lesson in how to write and fact-find objectively.

My edits to improve this article are as follows: - Improving the lead introduction section. - Editing the History section so as to not read as a chronicle. - Redesign the product category. - Update the awards category as it is out of date. - Find relevant sources for items that either required citations, or were subjected to dead links.

In addition to these, some facts were slightly off and needed editing.
