The result of the proposal was Move. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:15, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Page name - I think this page called "Pizote" should be redirected to the page "White-nosed coati" rather than the other way around. The descriptions I can find of the animal, which both names refer to, say that the "official" name is White-nosed coati while Pizote is a common name (which seems to be used in certain geographic areas). See here, here, and here. Liblamb 15:23, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

I agree with the above suggestion --Bad carpet 01:44, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. How does one change the coatimundi page to it's real name, Ring-tailed coati? Also, I believe that Pizote is only a Costan Rican .

I am requesting the move. This is the English Wikipedia, so we should use the English name for the species, not a regional variant. VanTucky Talk 04:46, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mexican Bin-dog

This is a "Spanish" name for the species? 2A02:A452:E444:1:8CDC:9481:3F83:E2 (talk) 12:00, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
