The definition that BMGs have a thickness of greater than 1 mm is arbitrary. As technology of preparing BMGs improves samples that were considered bulk previously will become considered merely BG films. ...I don't know how to put thatinto the article. RJFJR 20:21, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

The article as I rewrote it probably has too much on metallic glasses and not enough on the bulk nature of the new materials. RJFJR 20:21, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I should see if I can fidn the article in Science News to document the material on new alloys. RJFJR 20:21, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
