Well, was she successful?

[edit]

The newly added last par says "Raukawa-Tait herself later attempted to enter local politics, fighting a controversial by-election campaign for the Masterton District Council." It would be belpful to say whether she was successful.

Unfortunately, I can't actually find any direct statement saying what the result was, but I believe she failed. She doesn't appear in any of the archived versions of the Masterton District Council website, and a person (David Holmes) who I know was competing against her does appear, which I suppose is probably proof enough... (although I would be happier with some sort of official announcement). I've modified the article. -- Vardion 03:03, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
