Tile World and other community projects

[edit]

All of these were removed from the article some time ago, presumably due to not being reliably sourced. The community level packs may be more difficult to source, but discussing neither level editors nor Tile World seems more than a bit odd... @Modernponderer: Are you talking about clones of this game. Also, there are some published interviews with Chuck Sommerville if you need sourcing. I've asked him questions before but I can't even published his answers here because I posted them to my blog!! Govvy (talk) 09:31, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Govvy, I'm referring to any community projects that may be notable enough to be discussed in the article. Tile World seems like the most obvious candidate.
I don't think Chuck talks about any of them in his interviews (for obvious reasons), at least not in depth. Modernponderer (talk) 09:38, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know, I don't know anything about Tile World. I noticed Tile World redirects here. You could either write a whole section under a new Legacy heading about clones, with primary sourcing and published reviews about the clones. Govvy (talk) 09:47, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The issue is that I have yet to find "primary sourcing and published reviews about the clones" of sufficiently acceptable quality... Modernponderer (talk) 09:54, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
muppetslabs.com Would be a primary source! Easy enough to find, it's published reviews you would need to find. Maybe Linux Format magazine or PC Format. Govvy (talk) 10:10, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, yes of course that site would work as a primary source – but there would probably need to be secondary sources added to the article first. In any case, the other sources I've come across (whether primary or secondary) seem questionable. Modernponderer (talk) 10:16, 1 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SNES + Mega Drive releases

[edit]

Yesterday, YouTube channel "The Retro Room Roo" made a trailer which showed that Chip's Challenge will be put onto the SNES and Mega Drive/Sega Genesis. I don't know when. ~EvaTheWingdale, July 14th, 2021.
